Wranglers, Ditches and School.

We had a really fun weekend! We threw Aunt Michelle a surprise b-day party for her 30th birthday and then did some shopping :)

Murdoch's was having an awesome sale, so we went....

The kids have needed new jeans really bad, so why not get little cowgirls and cowboy their much needed wranglers? :)

Ever since this boy got his boots for his birthday, that is all he will wear. Along with long sleeve shirts and pants. We will just say, he is almost complete, just needs a belt with a buckle he says :)

Mom and dad got some new boots. The sale was take the lowest marked price on the item, then take an additional 50% off! My boots were originally $99.99, marked down 25%, and then take 50% off that and they were only $37.00!! It was awesome. Stephen's started out at $180 and we got them for $67. It was about time, my other boots were well loved on by Kimber, I had them for 10 years and I haven't had a pair of new shoes in about 2.5 years lol

Doing some school :) We have been blessed to do our educations at home. The kids love it, and I do too! We get all our chores done by 9:30, then they get to choose what and how they learn and then we eat at 12 and then it is my turn for studying or doing important things like updating the blog today :)

Dechlin has all of the sudden got this thing with digging ditches. He says he wants to be big and strong like dad got when he was little from digging ditches. So he took initiative, got a shovel and started digging. I didn't realize how much he had dug, but as you can tell he has done quite a bit in a day and a half!  This morning he was itching to go when we had devotional, and finally got out there at 9:30 and was working hard for almost an hour.... then he took a little break resting on faithful Kimber :)

She stole Daddy's hat..... she's quite the looker!

Savannah started Gymnastics yesterday!! She goes on Monday's for an hour and a half - and she said it was so much fun! They did the bars, vault and played in the foam pit. I am really excited to watch her progress in this.... and secretly hope she will still do ballet :)
Taking Savannah to gymnastics.... and then to Murdoch's to have the security device removed that they forgot when we bought them...lol
