Dechlin's 5th Birthday!!!

Finally found the swimming pool I had been looking for... so they played ALL day until the party began...
 

Dave's birthday is on the 25th so we combined parites...

Mindy's 19th Birthday!!

Mindy's first birthday away from home, so I had to do something. Afterall, I spent the first 27 of my birthdays with my parents and my first one without them this year was a little lonely!

Her cake - she wanted her favorite candies on it; skittles, starbursts and gummy bears. The gummy bears spell Mindy :)

MY Birthday!!

 

Happy Birthday to me :) I turned 28 this year.. that was weird :/ However I don't feel any different than I did on my 17th birthday and don't look any different( except skinnier!) so it can't be that bad to grow older LOL The kids tell me that I am just a teenager anyway, and they are pretty smart so I will go with them on that!

After we dropped the kids off, Stephen wanted cool St. Patrick's clothes so we ran to Walmart and got some. This is my birthday suit above haha! Then he took me to a restaurant called CampRobber where we got some amazing foods: Beer Battered Artichoke Hearts, Fettuccine Alfredo and they gave me a free Chocolate Creme Broule! YUMMY!

Then on Sunday his family came over and we had cake. I made a yummy, eggless spelt chocolate cake with a cashew (so dairy free) frosting that I added Peppermint Essential Oil too. I made it green so I had a giant Ande's mint for my cake and it was SOOO good! Needless to say, out of 30 cupcakes and 1 whole cake, there were NO leftovers!

It was a wonderful birthday! I got to order a new set of scriptures for my present. Bless my other 2 sets, that are precious mommy scriptures ( pages torn out by sweet babies).

Not to mention my New Blendtec Blender, Trampoline, Horse DVD's and TAP essential oil set that Stephen agreed for me to buy with part of our Tax return. I am so blessed, it isn't even comprehend-able!

Grandma and Grandpa Lappin's Birthday's :)

2 of my most favorite people had some special birthday's this year. Grandpa Melvin Lappin turned 87 on March 22nd and his beautiful wife, Grandma Barbara Lappin turned 86 on May 13!! Here are some pictures showing the festivities :)

 Ben Wadsworth did a beautiful job with the frosting. Really pretty swirls and wrote LOVE. I wish the picture would have shown his work of art better, it really was cool!!
