First Doctor Appointment - 15 weeks :)

So we had our first appointment at the doctors office. I am going to the Montrose Midwives place. It seems pretty good. You don't have one specific midwife you work with, because whoever is on call is going to be the one to deliver the baby so they like you to get to know them all. I would like to work with one specifically but I will take it so that I can have the support I want in my delivery.

This is going to be my first planned natural birth. I am not sure how natural Savannah was, so we will see how this compares! :)

Everything is looking good. They are going off of my March period rather than February because I was unsure what was going on. I felt like it is to be off of my Feb. one though.... So the due date they gave me was December 31, 2012 and saying I am 11 weeks.

Then the doctor came in and we talked and did normal stuff, she was telling us to not be surprised if we didn't find the heart beat with her little sonar thing, and when she barely touched it to my belly the heart beat made her jump because it was right there and very loud! Then she felt my belly and said that my uterus was bigger for 11 weeks, probably closer to 15, so they scheduled us an ultrasound to find out for sure :)

We went the next day for our ultrasound, and took the kids with us. She said we were about 15 weeks and 3 days, and moved our due date to December 5, 2012 - Stephen's birthday!! It was a lot of fun seeing the little rascal and I have never seen any of my kids move on the ultrasound before, but this little one was moving all over the place, waving it's hand at us and we even got to watch it punch at me, lol. The tech said if she were to take a guess, she would guess it a girl, but who knows :)

My pre-pregnancy weight was 111 according to my scale, and it said 119 this morning, and so did the doctors... so it looks like they are about on the same page lol .
